Fast-growing cloud industry network EuroCloud UK today announced the appointment of Frank Bennett to its 12-member management board. With a strong background developing cloud businesses in the UK, he will help foster the organisation’s role as a forum and advocate for the thriving UK cloud industry.
Frank Bennett has worked in Internet software and cloud since the mid-1990s, working with companies including Ariba, FreeMarkets, Hubwoo, Google, Microsoft, Mural Consulting and IMPAQ, a Microsoft ISV partner where he helped take its SaaS business from concept through go to market and ultimate trade sale. He is the author of ‘Thinking of...Using Google Apps? Ask the Smart Questions’ for Google partners and ‘Thinking of...Selling Microsoft Office 365? Ask the Smart Questions’ for Microsoft partners. He is currently working on a third book focusing on SME customers and what to consider before adopting a cloud solution. He is also an investor in a vendor-independent, online Cloud Readiness Assessment that allows businesses to check their readiness to adopt cloud solutions.
